Special Notice regarding SQL Server 7.0

POS-partner uses MSDE 1.0 (Microsoft Database Engine), which is a distributable version of the Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 database engine requiring similar planning prior to installation.

By design, SQL Server 7.0 and/or MSDE 1.0 do not support database server concurrency on a single PC or Server.

If a Database Server or Stand-Alone installation of POS-partner is attempted on a machine that is already running SQL Server 7.0, the installation will abort.

Special Notice regarding Novell Client

POS-partner will not install properly if the PC has Novell Client installed.

Special Notice regarding NT Terminal Server, Terminal Services, Citrix Server

POS-partner is not designed to be installed with Terminal Services and will not run properly.
